Wood facade clip system FASCON®

Profile system for concealed fixing of wood facades

A FASCON®-based facade system consists of vertical L- and T-shaped aluminum support profiles, wall brackets, clips, cap profiles, and optional accessories.

The wall brackets are made of aluminum or stainless steel, depending on the thermal requirements.

Vertical alignment of the wood facade

The cladding elements are fastened concealed with clips. The clips are screwed onto horizontal cap profiles, which can be fastened to the substructure with screws or rivets.

Horizontal alignment of the wooden facade

If the wood cladding is to be aligned horizontally, the cap profiles are connected directly to the wall brackets with rivets or screws. The clips for concealed fastening of the wood cladding are attached to the cap profiles with screws.

Combination with SYSTEA ALHO

Depending on the thermal and fire protection requirements of the construction, a combination with our ALHO system is possible.

In this case, aluminum support profiles are not used, but rather adapters for the wall brackets in order to use vertical timbers. With this variant, the clips are screwed directly onto the wooden beams.

General

Support profiles are connected to the wall brackets with rivets or screws. Sliding points absorb horizontal loads (wind) and fixed points absorb horizontal and vertical loads (dead weight).

The sliding points are mounted in vertical slotted holes without constraint. One fixed point is arranged per support profile.

For easier processing, the wall brackets are optionally equipped with a mounting aid that allows the support profile to be fixed and held in place.

Thermostop elements are available as thermal separators to minimize thermal bridges.

This profile system is suitable for concealed fastening of wooden facades with a special groove from KARLE + RUBNER in higher building classes.*
